Additionally, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 one armed bandits, 36 table games, and 4 restaurants. There are several other popular Iowa casinos, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. One more Iowa riverboat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. Iowa casinos offer a great amount of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has enabled the budgeting of a good many commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has increased at a fast percentage along with the requirement for companies and a growth in working people. Iowa gambling dens have contributed to the expansion of the market, and the excitement for gambling in Iowa is widespread.
