Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you like to have a cocktail ever so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all cash, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Pack whatever cash you expect to use on drinks, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might experience a win after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that account considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The pair just do not go well together.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino might be a little drastic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a worry, then drink all the complimentary beer you can handle, but do not take credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated head throws away everything!
Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the web to wager in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my house, but since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.
Why? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s definitely adequate to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. The two mix up for an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
